Scamalytics are pleased to announce that we have just been admitted to a very important UK Dating Industry association: The Online Dating Association or ODA.
The ODA is looking to have Associate relationships with businesses with this shared interest and, in particular, with a shared commitment to building a strong healthy market that the public trust and value.
Scamalytics was welcomed by the ODA as its first Associate last week. ODA Chairman Duncan Cunningham said “We were delighted to have Scamalytics as our first Associate. We and they share a commitment to creating a market where users can have high levels of trust and confidence and where service providers can invest and innovate. Software that attacks webcam fraud, fake profiles and romance scammers is a major aid to the ODA’s Date Safe campaign and is an example of the industry’s determination to keep online dating as safe as we can make it from those who are into deception, not dating”.
Nick Tsinonis, co-founder of Scamalytics announced: “Our service was born out of a strong connection we have had with the Dating Industry for over a decade now. We were very aware of the technical challenges and costs that dating sites were faced with in preventing fraud and scams and wanted to help with a viable commercial product. At Scamalytics, we are closely linked to the values of the ODA and we are privileged to have been able to have passed the criteria for making the first ODA Associate member. We extend a call to all other Dating Industry vendors to apply and do the same. I believe we have a responsibility as vendors to help maintain high quality service standards for UK Dating companies and being part of the ODA shows that commitment.”
