As many of you will be aware the law in relation to personal data is changing and in a few days the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), will come into effect as of May 25, 2018. The regulation contains the most significant changes to European data privacy legislation in the last 20 years, and here at Scamalytics we have been working hard to ensure that we are fully meet these new obligations.
As such we wanted to share with you Scamalytics’ overview of the work which we have been doing as well as our updated Privacy Policy & Cookie Policy.
We appreciate that as our customers, that you have your own requirements under GDPR, and as such we are committed to supporting you in helping to fulfil your obligations.
At a high level, our efforts include:
• Completing a GDPR Audit
• Appointing a DPO, Dan Winchester
• Updating our Privacy & Cookie Policy
• Putting in place a Data Breach Policy to help us deal with any potential breach
• Ensuring any international transfer are done in the right way by due diligence any international partner
• Reviewing our security procedures to ensure we are able to keep your data secure
